INSURANCE CLAIMS
COVER YOUR LIFE JOURNEY

Any accident or occurrence that is likely to result in a claim should be reported to Bankers Insurance Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited as soon as possible to our claims department at our Head Office, North or South Branch Offices.

FLOOD RELATED CLAIM:

When your home is flooded, you need to report flood damage to us. But you shouldn't return to you home until it's safe. Flood insurance covers direct physical losses from floods and losses resulting from flood related erosion caused by waves or currents of water exceeding anticipated cyclical levels and accompanied by a severe storm, flash flood, abnormal tide surge or a similar situation that results in flooding.

With the perennial flooding affecting thousands of citizens, Bankers Insurance Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited wishes to remind all customers to promptly report any flood-related claims to the nearest Branch Office or your respective Agent. To report a flood-related claim, customers are required to simply:

  • ✓ Submit a completed claim report
  • ✓ Provide us with photos of the flood damage
  • ✓ Wherever possible, provide bills and invoices
