Don't Drink & Drive

None for the Road is a Road Safety Campaign brought to you by Bankers Insurance Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited.  The purpose of this campaign is to spread our Socially Responsible message “Don’t Drink and DrIvE”throughout the nation.  Our aim is to deter persons from drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol, thus reducing road fatalities.

This campaign introduces our single use disposable breathalysers. These can be used as the safety mechanism that will show whether the user is under the influence of alcohol and/or over the legal limit thus hopefully encourage good sense in our nations drivers. The breathalysers were tested and verified by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service against their own breathalyser to verify its alcohol content accuracy.


Bankers Insurance Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited began its H.O.P.E (Helping Our Pupils Excel) programme to spread awareness to the youths of our nation.  This programme was approved by the Ministry of Education and commenced on September 2015.

The project is a two-fold programme where one part teaches basic sporting skills to primary school students weekly on the school grounds. Then motivational sessions are introduced to discuss topics such as violence in schools, road safety, exercise and diet etc.  We feel this approach will leave a greater influence on our children rather than simply having someone come in to talk about these topics.

At the beginning of each school Term six (6) schools are selected, our Brand Ambassadors Nicholas Landeau – (Track and Field Athlete) and Sean De Silva – (Vice Captain of Central Football Club / National Team Footballer) visits these schools once weekly for the entire school term to conduct these sessions.  This programme is geared towards both boys and girls.
